Repair service

The repairs for 4 mm, DAT, 8 mm, DLT , SDLT, AIT, LTO drives and the corresponding autoloader as well as small libraries are conducted at fixed prices.
For defective 9-, 18- or 36-track devices we will send you a cost estimate via Fax or E-mail.

Please ask for a RMA number (Return Material Authorization) to refer to the repair tracking. Turn around time is about 3 to 5 business days.

Return Material Authorization number

RMAs allow us and our customers to control the return of equipment previously repaired and shipped. Tracking information through the use of RMAs improves the customer service and overall quality.

The purpose of the RMA number is to provide effective tracking and control of returned hardware. We will not be responsible or accountable for equipment returned without proper authorization.
An RMA number is required for all devices returned to our service repair depots prior to repair.
To receive an RMA number please give us a call us or send an E-Mail to provide the necessary information. An RMA number will be generated after we receive the required information.

Return material authorizations documents should include serial number, model description, device type and other identification about who is returning the material and why.

No RMA number?
In case no RMA number is available, we would need a copy of the delivery documents to identify your hardware.

Warranty

Our warranty for the repaired device is typically 6 months "bring-in-service" after the device has been returned to you. Ask for the costs of an extended warranty up to or 12 months.

Turn around time is about 3 to 5 business days.

Repair cost and Shipping

The delivery of repaired tape drives is free of charge for you. Shipping cost is solely charged for bigger devices as autoloader and tape libraries.
Form of Payment: All prices in Euro plus VAT, you only pay the shipment to our service depot, zahlbar nach Erhalt der Rechnung ohne Abzug
